ipDatatel, LLC (IPD) received the ESX Maximum Impact Award in the “Best Alarm Equipment: Alarm Signal Transmission Equipment” category for their newest product – the Cellular Broadband Alarm Transceiver (BAT CDMA) during the 2013 Electronic Security Expo in Nashville, Tenn.

The BAT CDMA provides low cost, dual path communications for alarm and home automation signaling via cellular and/or broadband transmission. The cellular BAT works with all alarm control panels that utilize Contact-ID to provide secure and cost-effective IP/cellular alarm transmissions. Additionally the cellular BAT can communicate on a keypad bus of major control panel manufacturers.

Their dealer branded, feature rich Virtual Keypad and Web Portal are customizable for alarm signals and notifications via text, voice call, email and activity reporting. In fact, the BAT CDMA recently received Best in Show for the Residential Security and Monitoring Category Award at the Security Industry Association New Product Showcase at ISC West.
“Our business is providing private label products and transmission services to our customers,” said Kurt Burr, vice president of sales, ipDatatel. “Dealers maintain their branding and protect their customer loyalty while ipDatatel delivers the network, technical support and next generation products that keep customers interested in their services.”
